Fukano Village, Nara
Villa ZAO
Secluded in the natural and idyllic surroundings at the eastern edge of Nara prefecture, Sasayuri-ann is a private luxury accommodation comprised solely of two different traditional style villas. Both villas are private, available for only a single party each night.
Zao is an old farmhouse characterized by its blackened wood beam and thatched roof. Built over 200 years ago, the villa was renovated in 2014 to ensure a comfortable stay for guests. From the main room, enjoy a panoramic view of beautiful rice terraces and mountain peaks.
Ozunu is a newly built wooden villa just a few minutes ride from Zao, where you can admire Japanese gardens. Here, you might have a chance to enjoy a view of sea of clouds from the porch in the morning.
A variety of cultural and natural activities that sparks your spirituality are available, some of which hosted by the villa owner who is also an ascetic monk.
