Start your day at Tsukiji Outer Fish Market, one of the most vibrant markets in Japan. The inner market (for wholesalers) was moved to Toyosu in October 2018. However, the old outer market is still here on business. See not only fresh seafood directly conveyed from Toyosu Market, but a variety of Japanese ingredients such as seaweed, dried bonito flakes, marbled beef, vegetables as well as Japanese kitchen utensils. This market is like a live museum of Japanese food culture. Walk through the market and try out fresh Sushi and ready-to-made rolled Tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette) and etc.
Visit the Imperial Palace (Nijubashi Bridge), picturesque double bridge over historical mort at Imperial Palace. Imperial Palace used to be the Edo Castle where the ruling Tokugawa Shogun family lived between 17th and 19th Century. The current Imperial family lives here. Though visitors are not allowed to enter the premises, it is nice to see the signature of Imperial Palace. Your guide will be pleased to tell the story of Imperial Family and its history.
Visit Meiji Jingu Shrine which is located in the tranquil forest of the city center. The shrine is the most visited shrines of Japan for New Year's Day and popular place for weddings and ceremonies to celebrate children's growth. Learn from your guide the philosophy of Shintoism, the architectural structures of a shrine, and the authentic way to visit and pray at a shrine.
Stroll along Harajuku and Takeshita-dori Street where teenager's clothing and fashion items are sold. See what is "in" for Japanese teenagers.
Continue down to Omotesando, a high fashion street where international boutiques, interior shops, and young Japanese designer's shops are. Explore unique and uptown buildings and shops that are designed by renowned architects such as Tadao Ando, SANAA, and Kisho Kurokawa.

Shibuya used to be appealing to young generation only, but the recent redevelopment enhanced its charm to attract all generations.
If you would like, the newest landmark Shibuya Scramble Square has a rooftop observation deck with 360-degree panorama view over Tokyo (2,000yen per adult.) Walk through Shibuya Scramble Crossing, the largest and busiest pedestrian crossing in the world and meet Tokyo's most famous dog Hachiko statue standing still by the crossing. In the end of stroll, have a rest in a café at Shibuya Stream listening to the sound of stream.
