Your English-speaking guide will greet you in the hotel lobby in Tokyo. In the morning, visit a few of the Japanese gardens in Tokyo. Rikugi-en is an excellent garden built in the Edo period. Stroll along the path in the park through hills and a big pond while viewing tree-filled scenery that tried to re-create some of the famous Japanese natural scenery.
The tour gives you an opportunity to admire two theme that relates deeply to Japanese aethetics: Japanese garden and bonsai. You will be escorted to Japanese gardens such as Rikugi-en as well as Omiya of Saitama Prefecture which is recognized as the sacred centre of bonsai. Visit Omiya Bonsai Art Museum, the world's first publicly-owned bonsai museum, and leading bonsai nurseries. Your guide is pleased to support translating for you when talking to bonsai artists.

Move to Saitama by local train for about 45 minutes.
Omiya Bonsai Art Museum, the world's first publicly-owned bonsai museum, opened in 2010. Here, you will be able to see collections of valuable bonsai, bonsai pots, suiseki, paintings and other bonsai related documents. Small beautiful trees let you imagine how much passion have been devoted by bonsai artists to create these meticulous living works. Learn about bonsai that has spread around the world.
Then, enjoy an opportunity to visit leading bonsai nurseries in the area. You will be escorted to some leading nurseries such as Kyuka-en, Mansei-en, Seikou-en, Toju-en, and Fuyo-en.
(If you are a bonsai enthusiast, you might also want to visit Masakuni, a world-famous bonsai tool manufacturer in Kawaguchi. )
At the end of the tour, you will be escorted to your hotel in Tokyo.
As for lunch, the guide will recommend a restaurant depending on what you feel like eating this day. Lunch fee is not included in the tour price.
