Winter Sake Tour in Aizu, Fukushima
Sake has been in the center of Japanese food culture over 2,000 years.  Fukushima, with its richly endowed nature, is a leading prefecture with gold titled Sake brands in Japan.  Surrounded by mountains, the city of Aizu has many breweries, thanks to the abundant pure water from springs and melted snow runoffs.  We are proud to present our first escorted group tour, “Winter Sake Tour in Aizu” on  the weekend of February 2 & 3 .  The tour features exclusive visits to traditional breweries (some which are usually not open to public), guide by Sake masters, and a stay overnight at a Japanese ryokan.  Please see our website for
details.

Minamikan, Ryokan with Chanoyu Hospitality in Matsue
Only an hour flight from Tokyo, Matsue city (Shimane Prefecture) is a hidden destination to experience the ideal Japanese beauty.  The “Chanoyu” (tea ceremony) culture takes part in people’s everyday life, and you will be able to see that in beautiful gardens, delicate cuisines and confectionaries, and the hospitality during your visit.  Today, Michi Travel Japan is pleased to introduce our partnership with an established ryokan with all these elements.  Overlooking Shinjiko lake, Minamikan boasts their karesansui-style garden, which is highly ranked in the “Journal of Japanese Gardening” for years.  Relax in hot spring, have a Matsue-style kaiseki cuisine, and enjoy the finest hospitality at Minamikan.  For more information, please see details on our website, Matsue & Minamikan.
