Kagurazaka
Visit Kagurazaka, a cozy area in Tokyo that retains a traditional atmosphere with stone paved streets, craft shops, and nice Japanese restaurants. Kagurazaka is also one of the six Geisha quarters in Tokyo, with established "ryoteis (exclusive Japanese restaurants)" where you can invite Geishas to provide entertainment during your dinner.

She will dress you up in a kimono, perform the shamisen, and give you a flavor of the Geisha world. After that, stroll arond the stone paved streets and take a picture dressed in the kimono. You can also visit to traditional craft shops lined in the streets, and enjoy shopping.

Ukiyo-e

Ukiyo-e is a form of popular art produced from Edo to Meiji period (16th-20th century) . It is a genre of woodblock prints featuring landscapes and common man's daily pleasures, such as portraits of popular actors, beautiful women, and geishas. In Kagurazaka, you can visit a workshop of an ukiyo-e artisan to see and learn how meticulous one print is made by the hands of many artisans. You will also be able to challenge printing a greeting card using the techniques of ukiyo-e.
